Hello and welcome!

 

I'm Nicky, and I’ve been passionate about hairdressing for over 30 years. My career began as a Saturday assistant, and through hard work, passion, and dedication, I worked my way up to become a consultant and NVQ assessor for trainee stylists. Those years gave me a wealth of experience and an incredibly strong foundation in both technical skill and client care.

 

Hair by Nicola Jane was established in 2016 after many years working in salons during the early part of my career. I was fortunate to receive exceptional training and this, combined with a strong work ethic and a love for what I do, eventually resulted in the move to freelance styling.

 

For me, it’s all about making my clients feel fantastic. I take pride in my work, truly listening, offering tailored advice, and giving each person the time and attention they deserve. There’s nothing I love more than helping someone feel confident and beautiful.

 

I stay up to date with the latest styling techniques and only use high-quality professional products in my services—including Wella, Moroccanoil, and Paul Mitchell—to ensure your hair looks and feels its absolute best.

 

Based in Aylesbury, I’m happy to travel to surrounding areas and beyond, including Bucks, Beds, Berks, Oxon, and Herts.
